Tomorrow, Friday, August 16th Tru Green will be fertilizing the yards first thing in the morning, please stay off the lawn including pets for at least one hour.
A couple reminders;
Schmidt’s food truck coming September 4th.
We are still having issues with parking in the grass and/or in the yellow or on the wrong side of the streets… again, we have a towing company that patrols the community and if they see a vehicle that is parked where it is prohibited, they have the permission to tow the vehicle at the owner’s expense. Please be careful where you park.
8.2.24
Tomorrow, August 3rd is coffee and conversation at the clubhouse starting at 9:30 am, please stop by and enjoy some coffee, donuts, and chat time with your neighbors.
Next week:
Tuesday, August 6th is the NNO National Night Out starting at 6pm, Please join us in this national event getting to know your neighbors as well as our community law enforcement. Last year was a success, hoping for another great year.
Wednesday, August 7th- Food Truck starting at 6pm They will have Gyro’s, Philly cheesesteaks, burgers and much more.
A few other reminders: We have noticed a lot of parking in the yellow and on the wrong side of the street. For the safety of the community, please ensure you and your guests are not parking in the yellow or on the wrong side as our streets are very narrow and emergency vehicles have a hard time getting down the street. Keep in mind the vehicle could be subject to be towed at the owner’s expense.
We have also noticed a lot of trash on and or around parking pads. Per the community guidelines, the only items allowed on the parking pad is your vehicle, trash bin and the recycle bin. The trash trucks will only pick up what is INSIDE your bins… if you have any other items, you must schedule a bulk pick up via 311.gov. and place items out the night before the scheduled time. Lawn bags are to be place in front on the curb the night before or day of lawn recycle day. Please check the Trash/Lawn/Recycle calendar posted on the bulletin board at the clubhouse.
Power washing deadline has passed.
The messaging system has been updated and we are only able to have one household member receiving the messages. If you are receiving this message and would like to change to another owner, please let us know. Also, if you are renting your home you need to pass onto your tenant.
To ensure the community keeps its beautiful clean appearance, please ensure you are keeping your home free of weeds, trash and trimming trees below the gutters

We are getting more and more complaints about pet waste in the community, this is becoming a major nuisance and is against the community guidelines. Pet waste is to be picked up immediately… INCLUDING your own yard. This will be enforced.
If your yard is not clear of pet waste, your yard will not be mowed.

I want to express how serious the pet waste is happening in the community; we are getting several complaints weekly. Not picking up pet waste asap is a violation and will be given immediately. We have zero tolerance, and this also relates to your personal yard space as the landscape company is having a lot of issues with this as well. Please be more cautious regarding this matter to help keep the community beautiful and clean.

******Other community updates
We are currently working on having a food truck weekly on Wednesday from 6-8pm,,, starting in May…. further information to come.
The association has recently formed a few committees: A care team to help show love and support to our neighbors when life gets tough. Please call the office for more information.
We are looking for a few more volunteers to assist with the block watch committee, if you are interested, please contact the office.
Lawncare will start taking place next week. the mow days are Monday & Tuesday depending on weather. Please keep in mind, some areas in the community are in a flooding zone and cannot be mowed without ruining the lawn… Therefore, if we get a few wet days, mowing may not be an option. Precision carefully assesses it weekly.
IF YOU WISH TO BE ON A NO MOW OR NO FERTILIZATION LIST, PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO THE VILLAGESAGR@GMAIL.COM ASAP.
****Please note… your lawn will expected to be on the same mow schedule as the community
One of our residents has offered to have a children’s story time and gathering at the clubhouse, on nice days, this could be on the lawn. IF interested, please contact the office for more details or watch for updates via Facebook.
Community Coffee & Conversation:The association is offering the first Saturday of the month from 9:30 am to 11:30 am to have coffee & donuts at the clubhouse for those that may want to converse about the community / make friends and more. This will start Saturday May 1st.
Last but not least.. there have been several complaints about residents not picking up their animal waste in other residents’ yards. We have several dog waste bags located throughout the community as well as a dog park. This is a violation to the community guidelines and will be enforced.

Per the community guidelines all holiday decorations must be removed 2 weeks after the holiday. (As we do understand the cold weather this week, therefore we are extending this until next week when it gets a little warmer).
The next open board meeting is February 19th 6:30 pm at the community clubhouse. We hope to see you there.
Reminder: there is NO parking in the yellow, this includes all guests, during gatherings etc. Also, parking in the alley is only a 15 mins allowed timeframe. The vehicles will be subject to be towed immediately and owner of vehicle will be responsible for all towing costs. This rule is going to be enforced as this creates issues with emergency vehicles getting through the community.
Winter is here, and snow is coming. Please remember, all vehicles must be off the main streets when two or more inches of snow is expected. There is additional parking at the clubhouse on a first come first serve basis. Vehicles on the main streets could be subject to be towed at owner’s expense.
